ISAG freshmen donate blood in IPO

Praxe Commission brings together ISAG-EBS freshmen and promotes social responsibility activities in the IPO through blood donation.

The activity takes place tomorrow, Thursday, from 14h00, at IPO – Porto.

It was the Praxe Commission of ISAG – European Business School that launched the challenge to younger students: donating blood at the Portuguese Institute of Oncology of Porto.

To the call, more than 30 freshmen responded, who want to participate in this unprecedented activity for the entire academic community.

Participation is voluntary and will have a character of social responsibility, whose purpose is to instil in students the importance of blood donation, fundamental and irreplaceable in-hospital treatments.

The Praxe Commission also intends to promote team spirit, mutual help and the development of social skills, which are fundamental for the growth of students as people and future professionals.

The ISAG-EBS Praxe Commission has been concerned with associating itself with social causes, as Dr Nuno Ribeiro says: “Every year we include a socially responsible activity in our action plan. An example of this is the Freshman Kit that contributes to Operation Red Nose through the acquisition of the Nose by each freshman.
