Italy beat Austria 2-1 this Saturday, at Wembley Stadium, in London, but had to suffer, solving the tie in extra time and through two men off the bench, Chiesa and Pessina at 95 and 105 minutes. Kalajdzic even reduced to 115.
At 67, Austria had celebrated, by Arnautovic, but the goal was disallowed for offside. This was the eighth time Italy had to go to extra time in a Euro, more than any other team.
Italy awaits the winner of the meeting between Belgium and Portugal for the quarter-finals, knowing that the game will be in Munich.
