Italian Cinema Festival kicks off in Lisbon on Wednesday

Initially scheduled for April, the 13th edition of the Italian Film Festival was eventually postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic.

In this edition this is a ‘festival 2.0’ because it fails to take advantage of all the potentialities it could have.

It serves the programming, which in this edition is limited to showing films and has as its opening work, in São Jorge cinema, in Lisbon, ‘Pinocchio‘, by Mateto Garrone, probably one of the most important Italian films of the last season.

For the closing session, on November 12, also at Cinema São Jorge, the organization chose, also in a national premiere, “The things that make us happy“, by Gabriele Muccino.
