ITSector, a technology company specialized in the development of projects for the digital transformation of the financial sector, opened this morning the doors of its 6th Center for Software Development in the national territory, located at CEI – Castelo Branco Innovative Companies Center.
With this investment, budgeted at € 3m by the end of 2020, the technology adds to the units it already has in Porto (headquarters), Lisbon, Braga, Aveiro and Bragança, plus a space dedicated to the development of nearshore projects for the financial sector, and a recruitment action is underway with a view to reaching, by the end of 2019, the 17 employees to operate from Castelo Branco.
“We started our activity today in Castelo Branco, we have a lot of job opportunities going on, because we want to quickly reach 17 employees still in 2019. We are trying to form a team specialized in cutting-edge technology, focusing on the financial sector, Artificial Intelligence and 5G. . The prospect of growth in the number of employees in Castelo Branco will continue next year and it is our goal to reach 50 by the end of 2020, ”says Renato Oliveira, president of the ITSector Group.
“With the focus on Castelo Branco we intend to continue to expand our funding capacity in different national geographies beyond the major urban centers. We will create new qualified job opportunities for software industry professionals who want to develop a career in the technology field in their homeland or make a choice against the usual location alternatives in major centers, ensuring a better quality of life at a cost. more attractive ”, adds the same person.
During the opening ceremony of the venue, which was attended by the Mayor, Luís Correia, the President of the ITSector Group also revealed that the expected growth momentum for the Castelo Branco Development Center “will imply the expansion of current facilities to attract young people with high academic qualifications ”.
