Ivan Domingues at the Italian Grand Prix

“It will be special to race Formula 3 in Imola”

After the first two rounds of the season, the Australian and Bahrain Grands Prix, the FIA Formula 3 World Championship moves to Europe, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place this weekend and with the only Portuguese driver in the category, rookie Ivan Domingues, returning to a very special track.

Since he was 14, when he moved to Italy to pursue his professional training, the young driver from Leiria has made the Autódromo Internacional Enzo e Dino Ferrari one of his main stages of experience. And it is there that he now intends to take another leap in adapting to Formula 3, in a journey that, once again, will be integrated into the F1 World Championship calendar.

“We arrived in Imola with the highest expectations, as we continue our development and return to a circuit that is so special to me. It will be special to race in Formula 3 at Imola, where I competed during my years in Formula Regional and Formula 4. After our debut in Melbourne and the improvement in pace we demonstrated in Bahrain, we will do our best to continue growing and enter the European phase of the championship in the best possible way”, says Ivan Domingues.
