Ivan Reis considered one of the most important comic artists in the world and Joe Prado, illustrator of several publications of RPG, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, and Superheroes, will be present from 12 to 15 September at the Comic Con event Portugal, on the Passeig Marítimo de Algés, in Oeiras.
Ivan Reis gained notoriety in DC Comics by revitalizing, alongside Geoff Johns, important characters of the universe, such as Green Lantern and Aquaman. In 2004, he signed an exclusive contract with the publisher to design Superman in Action Comics magazine, and in 2006 took on Green Lantern. He was the main artist in the mega-sagas Rann-Thanagar War, Sinestro War, Blackest Night, Brightest Day and Throne of Atlantis, where he affirmed himself as one of the main artists of the publisher and of the present time. Her list of titles still includes Justice League, Cyborg, Multiversity, Justice League of America, Lady Death, The Avengers, Iron Man, Defenders, Captain Marvel, Vision, and She-Hulk, among many others. He continues to be an exclusive DC Comics comic artist and in 2018 joined Brian Michael Bendis and Joe Prado in revitalizing the Superman title.
Joe Prado started working for the American Comic Strip in 2004. His credits include Action Comics, Green Lantern, Birds of Prey, Rann / Thanagar War, Teen Titans, The Warlord, Red Sonja, The Phantom, Blackest Night, Brightest Day, Aquaman, Justice League, Multiversity, Cyborg, Justice League America, among others.
Ivan Reis and Joe Prado were chosen for the new Superman magazine, written by Brian Bendis, in the year it celebrates the character’s 80th birthday. The two will be at the Comic Con Portugal 2019 event, September 12-15, in the BD & Literature area to meet and interact with all their fans.
