Festival takes place in Madeira from the 14th to the 22nd of July

Ivandro, who recently signed with Virgin Music Portugal, is one of the artists confirmed to take the stage on July 14th. The singer is today one of the most beautiful and popular voices in the Portuguese music scene, having been, in 2022, the national artist most listened to by the Portuguese on Spotify.

Ivandro was also one of the musicians invited by RTP to the Festival da Canção 2023 and this year he is nominated for the PLAY – Portuguese Music Awards in the categories of Best Song of the Year with the theme “Lua” (which was the song most listened national in 2022 on Spotify) and Best Male Artist.

Also on the 14th of July, Van Zee, an artist from Madeira, recognized for his innovative and authentic sound, will perform. 2020 single “Tempo”, released with producer Nort, has more than 1.2 million streams on Spotify. Later this month, the musician also joined the Virgin Music Portugal family.

On the 15th of July, it will be Pongo’s turn. The singer, who still as a teenager accompanied Buraka Som Sistema on stage in numerous concerts, and who gave voice to the anthem “Wegue Wegue”, launched herself solo in 2010 and since then has been asserting herself for her frenetic energy and music. encompasses influences ranging from EDM, bass music, dancehall, and pop variants.

With more than 20 years of career, António Zambujo’s unique music and voice have sold out emblematic venues inside and outside Portugal and have already conquered the other side of the Atlantic, more precisely Brazil, having started collaborations with Roberta Sá along the way, Chico Buarque de Holanda, Ney Matogrosso, Ivan Lins and Zé Renato. The musician was even nominated for a Latin Grammy, with the album “Até Pensa Que Fosse Minha” (where he performs songs by Chico Buarque). The performance will take place on the 21st of July.

On the same day, perform NAPA, formerly known as Men On The Couch, who recently released the single “Assim Sem Fim”, which marks the beginning of a new chapter in the group’s journey. Like Van Zee, NAPA also plays at home, as the group was born in a grandmother’s basement in Funchal in 2013. The band is preparing to release its second LP with a more mature look, but an ever-young spirit.

Also on the 21st of July will be the rapper T-Rex, who will present the themes of his first studio album, “Cor D’Água”, holder of the record for best national release on Spotify. The rapper sold out the Lisbon and Porto Coliseums this year and is nominated for the PLAY – Portuguese Music Awards in the category of Best Male Artist.
