j-hope, a member of the iconic 21st-century pop boy band BTS, has just released a new solo single, “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” and an official video.
This single marks j-hope’s long-awaited first solo project in a year since the release of his special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 in March 2024.
A mix of pop and R&B, “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” expresses the desire to love and be loved. On this song, j-hope teams up with Grammy-winning artist Miguel, further expanding his diverse repertoire of collaborations across various musical genres. The two artists showcase a natural chemistry with smooth and engaging vocal performances that merge seamlessly to create a global hit ready to dominate the music charts.
The global tastemaker made the announcement ahead of his first solo world tour, “HOPE ON THE STAGE,” which includes a total of 31 shows in 15 cities around the world. The tour kicked off with three shows in Seoul from February 28 to March 2 at the KSPO DOME.
A true game-changer, j-hope became the first South Korean artist to headline a major music festival in the U.S. with his landmark performance at Lollapalooza 2022. The musician further solidified his artistic vision through the simultaneous release of his album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 and its six-part documentary series, showcasing a challenging and innovative approach that is authentic to his art. j-hope continues to break new ground with his upcoming shows at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on April 4 and 6, making history as the first Korean male solo artist to headline a stadium show in North America. j-hope will also be headlining Lollapalooza Berlin 2025.
