The first five finalists were selected in yesterday’s semifinal, for and are “Tomorrow”, “Why?”, “Ginger Ale”, “How good it is to wait for someone” and “Saudade Saudade”.
“Tomorrow“, composed by Tiago Nogueira and performed by Quatro e Meia, “Why?” by Aurea, “Ginger Ale” by Joana Espadinha and performed by Diana Castro, “Como é good to wait for someone” performed by FF, and “Saudade Saudade“, by Maro, are the first five finalists to follow for the final of the Song Festival 2022, scheduled for March 12.
The representative of Portugal will compete, in Italy, in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest, which won the festival last year with “Zitti e buoni” by Måneskin and that representing Portugal had The Black Mamba with “Love is on my side”.
As cinco primeiras finalistas foram apuradas na semifinal de ontem, para e são “Amanhã”, “Why?”, “Ginger Ale”, “Como é bom esperar alguém” e “Saudade Saudade”.
“Amanhã“, composto por Tiago Nogueira e interpretado pelos Quatro e Meia, “Why?” de Aurea, “Ginger Ale” de Joana Espadinha e interpretada por Diana Castro, “Como é bom esperar alguém” interpretada por FF, e “Saudade Saudade“, de Maro, são as cinco primeiras finalistas a seguir para a final Festival da Canção 2022, marcada para 12 de março.
O representante de Portugal irá disputar, em Itália, o 66.º Festival Eurovisão da Canção, que venceu o festival do ano passado com “Zitti e buoni” pelos Måneskin e que a representar Portugal teve os The Black Mamba com “Love is on my side“.
The competitors of this semifinal broadcast live on RTP1 were: “Tomorrow” theme composed by Tiago Nogueira and performed by Os Quatro e Meia, “Calisun” theme written and performed by The Mister Driver, “Ginger Ale” by Joana Espadinha, performed by Diana Castro, “Como é bom esperar alguém” by FF, “Hope” by Norton, “Why?” by Aurea, “A minha praia” by Kumpania Algazarra, “Saudade Saudade” by Maro, “Odisseia” by Valas/Valas & Os Astronautas and “Povo pequenino” by Fado Bicha.
In this semifinal, we can still watch performances by Rita Redshoes who remembered Dina, The Black Mamba, Expensive Soul and Rui Pregal da Cunha and remembered the Heróis do Mar.
In the second semifinal, it will be tomorrow Monday, where we will be able to hear ten more songs that will be chosen again by the spectators and the jury, composed of Dulce Pontes, Dino D’Santiago, Surma, Teresa Salgueiro, Tatanka, Pedro Granger and Miguel Cadete.
