Jacob Collier, considered one of the most innovative musicians of his generation, returns to Portugal in 2023 for a concert on the Heineken Stage of the NOS Alive festival, on the 6th of July.

After becoming famous with videos made by himself and posted on YouTube, in 2016 Jacob Collier released his first studio album, “In My Room”, composed and recorded entirely in his bedroom and with which he won two Grammys.

The success of this album led the musician to work with world-renowned artists such as Charlie Puth, Coldplay, Daniel Caesar, Jessie Reyez, John Mayer, Lizzo, SZA, T-Pain, Tori Kelly or Ty Dolla $ign.

His most recent project goes by the title “DJESSE and has taken on unprecedented proportions. In 2018, Jacob Collier started this project, consisting of 50 songs, divided into four volumes, each within a separate musical universe of sound, style and genre. Throughout these four volumes, the musician collaborated with more than 30 musicians.

Volumes 1, 2 and 3 of “DJESSE” won Jacob a Grammy each. Jacob Collier thus became the first British artist to win a Grammy for each of his first four albums. Recently, the artist was nominated for the 2023 Grammys, in the categories of “Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals” with “Never Gonna Be Alone” and “Album Of The Year” with his contribution to the album “Music Of The Spheres” by Coldplay, as a songwriter, producer and collaborative artist.

In 2023, the musician should release the fourth and final volume of the “DJESSE” series. This and other unmissable news will certainly mark the unmissable concert by Jacob Collier scheduled for July 6th at NOS Alive ’23.
