Janice Eloisa da Silva voted sixth best player in the world
Benfica player Janice Eloisa da Silva, daughter of Cabo Verdean parents and international for Portugal, was elected this Tuesday, 26th, the sixth-best player in the world by the website “Futsal Planet”.
The Portuguese-Cabo Verdean obtained 233 votes, in a vote counted on futsal professionals and specialists from different countries.
Janice da Silva, who is also a Physical Education teacher, won, in 2019, the trophy of best player in the Portuguese championship.
Brazilian footballer Amandina was the winner of the best player award in the world, followed by Patrícia Gonzalez (Spain) and Renatinha (Brazil). This was the 21st edition of an event, organized by the website “Futsal Planet”, which is approved by FIFA.
