Japanese Moto Grand Prix cancelled

Dorna, the company that holds the rights to MotoGP, and the International Motorcycling Federation announced on Monday the cancellation of the race scheduled for October 18th.

This is the sixth race on the calendar to be canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the world, after the Grand Prix of Holland, Finland, Great Britain, Germany and Australia have also fallen.

The Motegi circuit in Japan has hosted this race since 1999, but this year, to the dismay of Japanese fans, it will not see any acceleration from the premier-class motorcycles in the world.
