It was with Michael Bolton, The Lucky Duckies, Jorge Fernando, and Soraia Tavares the opening of the Festival Jardins do Marquês, with many fans of the American singer attending, to see him again on his return to Portugal.
Michael Bolton closed on the main stage, the first day of the 3rd edition of the Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley festival, in Oeiras, which also features other fantastic names such as Maria Bethânia, Joss Stone, Liniker and Sara Correia, among many others.
On the first day, we can see the surprising Soraia Tavares, the always very happy and amusing The Lucky Duckies, who transport us to the music of the 50s and 60s, and the fantastic Jorge Fernando, who once again takes us on a journey through his beautiful melodies.

The festival runs until July 5th and will also have on stage:
Sara Correia, the Flamenco Passion company, Ciganos D’Ouro, and Acácia Maior, on Wednesday, June 28th.
On the 29th of June, António Zambujo, Camané and Ricardo Ribeiro, Israel Fernández and Diego Del Morao, Viva o Samba and Nuno Lanhoso.
Liniker takes the stage on the 30th of June, with Bala Escolha, Jovem Dionísio, and Roberta Sá.
The singer Maria Bethânia will be in Oeiras on July 1st, with the show “Fevereiros”, which is part of the documentary by Marcio Debellian about Bethânia and also Pierre Aderne, A Cor do Som and Diana Castro.
Sunday, July 2, it will be the turn of Pink Martini, with China Forbes as a guest, Três da Manhã da Renascença (Joana Marques, Ana Galvão and Inês Lopes Gonçalves), Olavo Bilac, who sings José Cid, and even Picas.
On the 5th of July, the last day, you can see and hear Joss Stone, The Black Mamba, Tiago Nacarato, and Milhanas.
But as a Festival is not just about music, there are several bars and food trucks available to quell the thirst and hunger of this excellent festival with the signature Musica no Coração.
