Jesca Hoop announces tour in Portugal. The North American artist, born in California but based in Manchester, announces three concerts – in Lisbon, Setúbal and Guarda – for February.
On February 22nd, Jesca Hoop performs at Cine-Teatro Turim, in Lisbon; on the 23rd, in Setúbal, at the 13th edition of the Círculo de Jazz Fest which will take place at the Cinema Charlot in the Municipal Auditorium; and on the 24th, at the Guarda Municipal Theater.
In these three shows, organized by Luckyman Agency, Jesca Hoop presents her most recent studio album, Order of Romance, produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, This is the Kit), which received great critical acclaim and the fans. His folk songs merge with refined musical arrangements, full of great musical ideas, and skillfully crafted lyrics that, together, give rise to works that stand out for their uniqueness.

The dates of the shows have changed, with the previously announced concert at the Carlos Paredes Auditorium moving from February 21st to the 22nd, at the Cine-Teatro Turim; and, in Setúbal and Guarda, the concert locations remain, changing the days to the 23rd and 24th, respectively.

Born in California, but based in Manchester, Jesca Hoop has that gift of being truly born for music!
Discovered by Tom Waits and hired to be part of Peter Gabriel’s band on several tours, it was however a phone call from Elbow’s Guy Garvey that led her to move to the United Kingdom.
Her 6 studio albums, including the most recent “Order of Romance”, produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, This is the Kit), have received great acclaim from critics and fans alike and you can see why!
