Jesus elected best coach in Flamengo’s history
According to fans, Jorge Jesus is the best coach in Flamengo’s history. The five titles won in less than a year will have been enough for fans to give this ‘prize’ to the Portuguese coach in a vote carried out by Globoesporte.
According to the prestigious Brazilian media, Jorge Jesus was voted by 63.44% of the supporters, beating his competition with a wide advantage.
The second most voted coach was Cláudio Coutinho (15.13% 9) and completing the Carlinhos podium (10.2%).
It is recalled that Jorge Jesus won the Libertadores Cup and the Brazilian Championship of 2019. In 2020, he also raised the Brazilian Super Cup, the Recopa Sul-Americana and the Guanabara Cup, of the Carioca Championship.
Jorge Jesus has, so far, a record of 51 games, 38 wins, nine draws and four defeats, with 118 goals scored and 45 conceded.
