Jet lands on NOS Alive’25 stage

TICKETS AND FNAC FAN PACK AVAILABLE AT ALIVE'25

Australian band Jet is the latest addition to the NOS Stage for the last day of the festival, which takes place on July 10, 11, and 12 at Passeio Marítimo de Algés.

Originating from Dingley, Melbourne, Australia, Jet quickly took the world by storm after forming in 2001, selling over 6.5 million albums globally and achieving nearly 10x Platinum certification in Australia, as well as Platinum in the US and UK with their debut album Get Born, released in 2003.

The album spawned a string of classic singles including “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, “Rollover DJ” and “Look What You’ve Done”, earning the band six ARIA Awards in 2004. Both “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Cold Hard Bitch” reached number one on the Modern Rock charts in the US, propelling the band to the top of festival posters and music charts around the world. Jet’s second album, Shine On, arrived in 2006, featuring another collection of melodic rock anthems like “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is” and “Bring It On Back,” and was certified platinum in Australia.

In 2023, the 20th anniversary of the release of Get Born was celebrated, an occasion marked by the band’s first shows in five years, playing the album in its entirety. In November 2023, Jet was honoured with induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame. After a successful 2024 tour of Italy, the UK, Ireland and the US — with sold-out shows on the “20 Years Of Get Born – Extended Edition Tour” — the band is preparing to arrive in Europe and perform at NOS Alive’25.
