After a resounding success in Guimarães, the band returns to the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon next year.

The evening promises a journey through the history of one of British rock’s most creative institutions, which once again meets the Portuguese public to celebrate nearly 60 years of sonic invention and artistic freedom. Led by the inescapable Ian Anderson, the band presents a show that spans their entire collection—from their early days shaped by the blues to the most recent chapters of their long career.
This show is part of the tour supporting Curious Ruminant, Jethro Tull’s latest studio album, released in March of this year. This is the band’s third album since 2022, showcasing the creative vitality of a career that defies the limitations imposed by time and fleeting trends.
Since 1968, Jethro Tull has defied classification. Their journey began anchored in blues, but quickly expanded horizons by integrating elements of folk, classical music, and jazz, creating a unique style that would define progressive rock.
