Jethro Tull returned to fill the Coliseu in Lisbon

The historic British progressive rock group, led and maintained by Ian Anderson since the 60s, returned to Coliseu dos Recreios, to present their latest album, RökFlöte (2023), but also to play some of their biggest hits.

With a discography of more than two dozen original albums, 2023’s RökFlöte is the 23rd, and Ian Anderson’s Jethro Tull continues to enchant a generation already a few years old, but also some younger audiences.

They are a true institution of British rock, which throughout their long career has ranged from blues-rock to fusion jazz, crossing with folk, heavy and even classical music, creating their version of progressive rock or symphonic rock.

Ian Anderson, the band’s leader, includes bassist David Goodier, keyboardist John O’Hara, drummer Scott Hammond and guitarist Joe Parrish and once again thrilled all the fans who went to the Coliseum, who asked to listen to the song and not They spent the entire concert photographing and filming the band, and asked them to save that for the last song of the concert.

Jethro Tull continues to be much loved on stage and has a place in the hearts of Portuguese fans who fill the rooms whenever they return to Portugal.
