“Malembe” is a sound journey that transports us to the vibrant streets of Angola, embodying in them all the magic of the African continent and that makes us travel there.
And that’s exactly what Jimmy P did, travelling to Angola to record the music video, to bring to the song a screen with people, the landscape and the beauty of the country.
The single “Malembe”, which is already available on all digital platforms, does not reach the digital market alone this end of the year. To celebrate Christmas and simultaneously one of the most challenging concerts of his career, Jimmy P presents “Natal Urbano – ao vivo”, with a release scheduled for December 20.
Recorded live in Porto, this album features a luxurious line-up where there is no lack of the great themes of his career, such as “Ano Novo”, “Volta Pra Ti”, duet with Syro, or “Entre as Estrelas”. But the magic of the concert, now in the album, is also the new arrangements that include the 100 voices of the Rio Tinto Youth Choir and Alumni Orfeão and the unforgettable energy of the audience that was absorbed by everyone on stage and now arrives on disc. “Abensonhado” appears as a single theme of this album, in an arrangement that makes us play the sky.
