Jo Anna is 26 years old and music has been running through her veins for as long as she can remember. She grew up to the sound of soul and rnb, and while traveling by car with her father, between Lisbon and Porto, she ended up discovering names like John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr. or Madonna.
Hence, composing and writing her own songs was the obvious and logical step in Jo Anna’s musical growth, drawing inspiration from classic soul, but giving back what she absorbed and learned through a completely renewed and very personal look.
Following the release of her first original EP, titled “Episodes“, Jo Anna now presents a live performance of one of the songs featured in it, titled “Trip It“. Guided by a slow-paced hip hop beat, “Trip It” is an engaging song that plunges us into a delicious and sensual atmosphere, guided by the smoothness of Jo Anna’s voice.
