Joan As Police Woman sells out concerts in Lisbon and Espinho
tickets available only for Ourém, Vila Real and Penafiel
The national tour of Joan As Police Woman continues to win over the Portuguese public.
After selling out the Espinho Auditorium | Academia (AdE) concert, the North American artist has also sold out her show scheduled for the Museu do Oriente in Lisbon on April 29th. The only concerts for which tickets are still available are at the Teatro Municipal de Ourém on May 1st, at Ponto C in Penafiel on May 2nd, and at the Teatro de Vila Real on May 3rd.
Joan As Police Woman will present an intimate and engaging show, which covers key moments of her career, in a musical journey that brings together the most iconic themes from her new album, “Lemons, Limes and Orchids”.
With an acclaimed discography and an artistic identity marked by the fusion of genres and the expressiveness of her voice, Joan Wasser (her birth name) establishes herself as one of the most notable figures in the contemporary alternative scene. International critics have given her consistent praise: The Guardian highlights the emotional power of her voice, while the Sunday Times defines it as “sensational”.
