Joana Amendoeira, Marcos Sacramento, Nuno Guerreiro sing Tiago Torres da Silva

Coliseu dos Recreios

Joana Amendoeira has a new album – “Na volta da Maré”- with songs by Fred Martins where she found an Atlantic place where the languages of Fado and other Portuguese and Brazilian rhythms intersect with an amazing naturalness based on the mature and smiling singing of the singer.

Marcos Sacramento’s most recent album – “Caminho para o Samba” – is the first consisting only of melodies composed by himself. Between sambas and dense and luminous songs, Sacramento proves the reason for being appointed as one of the best voices of today in Brazil.

Nuno Guerreiro has just recorded – “Na hora certa”- where he finds the melodies of Pedro Jóia bringing his particular universe, his very special voice, his rich history to the Iberian universe of Jóia and creating an artistic object where it reveals more than ever before, where he gets rid of fears and modesty and makes each song a story in its own name.

The three albums have in common the lyricistTiago Torres da Silva – who signs all the lyrics, thus showing, through three very different voices, how he unfolds in a thousand to find the right words for each voice. The lyricist is the same but the rhythms range from fado to samba, through pop, through ballads crossing instruments ranging from accordion to Portuguese guitar through mandolin, flute, classical guitar, double bass or percussions that sometimes evoke Portuguese rhythms. , sometimes they evoke Brazilian rhythms.

These are the three recent albums that the artists will show to the public for the first time on stage at the Coliseu de Lisboa. The show is directed by Tiago Torres da Silva himself, with special participation by Fred Martins and 11 musicians on stage.

A unique and unrepeatable show where 30 years of songs by Tiago Torres da Silva and the love of all those involved in the Portuguese language are also celebrated!
