Joana Espadinha is one of the leading singer-songwriters of Portuguese pop and one of the most relevant composers of her generation.
There are several of her songs sung at the top of her lungs by the general public and, at the same time, Joana also composes for other artists such as Carminho, Marisa Liz, Sara Correia, Cláudia Pascoal, Luís Trigacheiro and Diana Castro, among others.

Ten years after her debut album, Joana Espadinha releases Vergonha na Cara, her fourth original album. The new full-length explores the Pop that the singer has accustomed us to, with a wink at Indie Rock and also revealing a more introspective side.
Joana Espadinha will take the stage without Vergonha na Cara to present her new album and also revisit the most emblematic themes of her work, in four special concerts:
- 9 May – B.Leza, Lisbon (10pm)
- 10 May – Salão Brazil, Coimbra (22:00)
- 25 May – Casa das Artes de Felgueiras (9:30 p.m.)
- 26 May – Novo Ático, Coliseu do Porto (6pm)
This new work includes the three singles already released – “Será o Que Serra”, “Vestir a Camisola” and “Vergonha na Cara” – very well received by the public and national media.
