“Bala Perdida” is a song about love and heartbreak. It speaks of a real love that survives time and its imperfections. It is a raw, open-hearted song that Joana Espadinha always imagined, when she composed it, as a duet.
The new song is now available on digital platforms.
“I wanted to sing with Salvador for a long time, and I don’t think I could have chosen a better interpreter for this duet. Combined with his wonderful voice, Salvador has an unusual sensitivity and a very authentic way of being in the music, always trying to serve the song and its story, without artifice.
I think we managed to capture the magic of this encounter in the studio, and that makes me very happy.” – says Joana Espadinha.
The song has a string arrangement written by the singer and composer in partnership with Filipe Melo. The meeting of these two voices was recorded by the eyes of cinematographer Maria Bicker, in the music video “Bala Perdida – Joana Espadinha feat. Salvador Sobral”.
