Joana Estrela writes and illustrates book on gender identity

“Menino, Menina” addresses the theme of gender identity with humor and sensitivity, and is aimed at all ages.

Joana Estrela is the author and co-author of several books for children and young people, namely ‘Mana’, ‘A rainha do norte’, ‘Aqui é um bom lugar’, written by Ana Pessoa.

In an author’s edition he published, for example, ‘Os vestidos do Tiago’, a small book that addresses the theme of sexuality and gender identity, and the comic book ‘Propaganda’ and ‘Pride in Portugal’.
