Joana Gama releases 2025 dates for her “Não Sei Ser” tour and cements her position at the top of national comedy

signed with Brain Entertainment

Multifaceted comedian Joana Gama, also a radio host and podcaster, launches the first dates of 2025 of the “Não Sei Ser” tour with several shows in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro, Braga and Leiria.

Joana Gama is at the forefront, alongside figures such as Joana Marques, Ana Arrebentinha and Bumba na Fofinha, proving that female humour is here to stay and that it attracts an ever-increasing audience.

Every show on this tour is completely different thanks to his unique and quick improvisational skills. What Joana does is inimitable, even by herself. Quoting Joana Gama, “After almost two decades working with humour on stage, radio and TV, I can afford this luxury, even though “some comedians” in Portugal still look at improvisation sideways, because it seems that it doesn’t require preparation. Yes, it does and it’s very exhausting. It’s what gives me the most excitement, that adrenaline and having to be completely in sync with the audience.”

“I Don’t Know How to Be” is a statement of power regarding what has always made her feel distant from the norm. Joana Gama sees the world differently, “my brain doesn’t turn off, I look for the most comical and absurd angle of everything, especially my own”. More relevant than the diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder is that of being a born comedian.

Quoting Joana Gama “The inevitability of making humour comes from an inability to process reality healthily. I suffered much less for being hilarious – I’m a dish.”

In the world of stand-up, his projects such as “Psychotherapy”, “Comedy Therapy” and “Banana-Papaia” have become a kind of cult, filling emblematic venues.

With this tour and the partnership with Brain Entertainment, one of the main national comedy agencies, Joana Gama positions herself not only as one of the sharpest national comedians but also as a reference in national entertainment.
