João Domingues plays against Pedro Sousa in the tournament of Lima

The Portuguese tennis player João Domingues qualified today for the first round of the ‘challenger’ of Lima, in which he will face compatriot Pedro Sousa, after imposing himself on the Peruvian debut for the Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas.

João Domingues, 229th place in the world rankings, beat on Tuesday in two sets a tennis player positioned many places above in the 66th, by the partial ones of 7-6 (8-6) and 6- 4, after an hour and 45 minutes of the encounter.

Oliveira de Azeméis’s natural tennis player will discuss access to the quarters with Pedro Sousa, the 138th tennis player in the world, who beat the Belgian Arthur de Greef in the opening round 6-3.
