João Farinha presents A Conta Que Deus Fez in Coimbra and Porto
João Farinha, the unstoppable voice of the collective Fado Ao Centro, presents his latest discographic work, A Conta Que Deus Fez. This will be the artist’s third solo album and promises to be a milestone in his career of over 26 years, always dedicated to the fusion between Coimbra’s tradition and the search for new sounds.
The debut of the album will take place on September 27, at 21:30, at the Convento São Francisco, in Coimbra. This will be followed by a presentation on October 6, at the iconic Casa da Música, in Porto.
Produced by the renowned and award-winning musician Tiago Machado, responsible for hits such as “Ó gente da minha terra” by Mariza, the new album reflects an intense and emotional musical journey, where modernity meets the cultural heritage of Coimbra. João Farinha will also have the special participation of notable guests, such as Tiago Nogueira (from Quatro e Meia), rapper Ruze, and Mafalda Camilo.
This album is a manifestation of João Farinha’s constant desire to update and contemporize Coimbra’s fado, taking it to new horizons. A Conta Que Deus Fez has been available on all digital platforms since September 20.
