Juventus even started better, taking over the baton early on. Ronaldo was almost always one of the most untimely of the Bianconera fleet, like Douglas Costa, but the story was going to be written in red and white.
At the 24th minute, in a half-round shot, and without touching the pitch, João Félix fired to the first of his personal account and then scored again at the 33rd, after a fabulous pass from Lemar. In between, Khedira still equalized the match, at 29′.
João Félix, who has already scored four goals and three assists in this preseason in five games, was replaced during the second half, just like Cristiano Ronaldo.
For both teams, this was the last meeting in the pre-season. Atletico Madrid comes into action on 18 August against Getafe, while Turin’s squad open Serie A on 24 August against Parma.
