João Pedro Pais has just announced that the show celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Lisbon Coliseum will be sold out on November 4th. The last tickets available for October 7th at the Coliseu do Porto AGEAS.
On November 4, 1997, João Pedro Pais released his first original album, Segredos, proving to be a true sales success. The themes “Nobody (it’s nobody’s)” and “Louco (por ti)” became emblematic landmarks in the artist’s career and the Portuguese songbook, and they are still sung with one voice in all concerts today.
25 Years later, on November 4, 2022, João Pedro Pais releases Amor Urbano, his 9th album of originals – setting the tone for the start of a tour that celebrates this milestone in his career.
To mark these 25 years of editions, João Pedro Pais will once again take to the stage of two of the most emblematic national theaters with the show “Coliseus – 25 Anos”.
This celebration of his career includes a carefully thought-out show that will cover the themes that have marked the Portuguese over the last 25 years but also the new songs that João Pedro Pais has just released on this latest album.
With an artistic career spanning more than two decades, hundreds of concerts, and around 450 thousand records sold, João Pedro Pais is today, without a doubt, one of the artists most beloved by the Portuguese public.
On stage, in addition to other guests, João Pedro Pais will be accompanied by the musicians with whom he has shared the stage in recent years: Rui Almeida (piano), Fernando Tavares (drums/percussion), Sérgio Mendes (guitar) and Donovan Bettencourt (bass).
