João Silva (23rd) and João Pereira (27th) finished the triathlon event of the Olympic Games on the top30 of the competition.
The Portuguese duo was 2.26 and 2.29 minutes, respectively, from the Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt, winner of the gold medal.
British Alex Yee and New Zealander Haydel Wilde closed the competition podium by winning silver and bronze.
