João Sousa qualifies for the second round of Gstaad tournament

Portuguese tennis player João Sousa, fifth in the series, qualified today for the second round of Gstaad’s ATP 250 tournament, beating Belgian Steve Darcis on his debut in Switzerland.

João Sousa, 49th in the world ranking, imposed himself in two sets to a tennis player ranked 149 places lower in the ATP hierarchy, where he occupies the 198th position, by double 6-4, after one hour and a minute of confrontation.
