First of all, I want to apologize to our readers, who are fans of Joelma, we don’t have an interview or photos from the Lisbon concert, but we don’t accept being disrespected, by this lady, this supposed “artist”, a person who has no respect for journalists or their fans, who deserve better.
Unfortunately, what happened today with Joelma is not unprecedented, but with the severity of today it had not happened to us yet, among journalists, and fans who won tickets that included a meet and greet, we were all invited to be at the Coliseu dos Recreios at around 7:30 pm. at 8 pm, with instructions to be punctual, and as soon as the production team received us, we were immediately informed that the concert and interviews would be delayed.
We were again informed to be punctual and to be at the Coliseum at 8.30 pm, under penalty of not doing an interview, anyway, after a long wait for the “artist”, she arrived at the Coliseum at 9.30 pm, some means of communication are then chosen, to go up while the rest of the media remain on the street waiting, as the “artist” chose to do the interviews in a dressing room, which can accommodate 5 people, and not in the room that exists for that purpose in the Coliseum.
At 22.00, while still waiting, we asked for some information on how the interviews were going, and we were informed that the first agent, just at that moment, had come in to do the interview, two hours later than the scheduled time, and as we informed them that no We were going to wait longer, we were invited upstairs, to a hall where guests can wait.
Shortly after, we were informed that the interviews would no longer take place, so those who received the meet and greet rushed in to take photos with the “artist”, so we chose to leave the Coliseum and not even attend the concert.
Unfortunately, there are people who call themselves “artists”, who do not respect the journalists who promote them, but mainly the fans, some who probably spent what they didn’t have to buy a ticket, others who were working all day, and then tired, went see the concert, others who, because they took public transport, were unable to see the whole concert or perhaps even nothing.
I don’t know what Joelma’s reason was for this delay, maybe it was the lack of a passport or the debt to the Brazilian finance department, or something else, but I’m sure she doesn’t know either, the difficulties of those who went to see her, of those who paid the ticket for a concert that started at 9 pm and was still waiting at 10:30 pm.
Joelma may be an excellent singer/entertainer but lacks character and professionalism.
