The 17th edition kicks off with another big name: John Legend is increasingly a planetary star with an absolutely impeccable career.
An unavoidable artist in the history of world music and scheduled for the presentation of the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome, in Cascais, on the 3rd of July.
John Legend is a singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and philanthropist and has edited eight albums so far.
Originally from Ohio and gifted with an unmistakable voice, Legend has a total of 33 career awards and 88 nominations.
John Legend has won an Emmy, ten Grammy Awards, an Oscar and a Tony Award, as well as a Golden Globe, an American Music Award and two BET Awards.
He is an Oscar winner in the category of Best Music, with the theme “Glory”, for the 2014 Selma film and also a Hal David Starlight Award from the Hall of Fame Composers Association.
For the first night of EDPCOOLJAZZ, a concert with a unique configuration will be expected that will make the audience travel through the artist’s memorable themes.
The Manuel Possolo hippodrome in Cascais will be the scene of two unique shows at the 17th edition of EDPCOOLJAZZ.
Confirmed at the coolest festival of the summer are pop culture icon John Legend on July 3 and international music legend Lionel Richie on July 25.
