Jonas reveals ‘Bato a Porta’, the second single from Maçã d’Adão, the new album that will be released on September 14 at Capitólio, in Lisbon.
Jonas is a multidisciplinary artist who has worked as a dancer, choreographer, singer-songwriter and fado singer. With a career spanning almost two decades, he has presented his original work on several national and international stages and now joins Locomotiva Azul.
“Bato a Porta” is the second single that precedes the next album by fado singer Jonas, entitled Maçã d’Adão. This is a song that highlights the Iberian heritage of our culture and, following in the footsteps of the much-acclaimed show Bate Fado continues the author’s mission to bring dance back to Fado. A poem that exalts the constant pulse between life and death in a continuous dance. The dance between luck and misfortune, between the ups and downs, straight lines and curves through which each person’s path is built. A wheel of fortune in constant rotation. This is another of the tracks on the album Maçã d’Adão, written entirely by Jonas. A project with a strong authorial signature, which continues to present us with the different dimensions of this multidisciplinary artist who has been establishing himself as a reference in the Portuguese artistic scene.
