Jorge Ben Jor, Neneh Cherry and Kokoroko confirmed at EDP Cool Jazz 2021

The 27th of July is reserved for the contemporary sounds of Neneh Cherry and Kokoroko, with Jorge Ben Jor in charge of the last day of the coolest festival of the summer, on the 31st of July.

With the postponement of the festival to July 2021, the three artists previously confirmed for the 2020 edition, thus carry over to the 17th edition of the festival, at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais.

In 2021, the three artists join an already announced poster featuring leading figures such as Yann Tiersen (21 July), Lionel Richie (25 and July) and Herbie Hancock (28 July).

EDPCOOLJAZZ is postponed to 2021 following the pandemic and its legal and public health conditions, namely with the approval of the Portuguese Government’s law proposal, which determines the non-realization of the events scheduled until September 30th by virtue of COVID 19.

The tickets issued for the 17th edition of EDPCOOLJAZZ in 2020, are valid for the edition in 2021, and there is no need to change. In case of reimbursement, and following the approval of Law 19/2020 of 29 May 2020, ticket holders are entitled to issue a voucher of equal value to the price paid, to be requested at the place where they purchased the ticket.

The vouchers will be issued by the festival’s official points of sale. As a recent measure enacted on May 29, ticket operators are still implementing the voucher system, so they will soon be able to issue vouchers and give back all necessary information and clarifications.
