After an intense summer and a visit to festivals, Jorge Palma is preparing to present his new album, VIDA, indoors. The first dates announced – October 11th at Casa da Música, in Porto, and the 19th and 20th, at Teatro Tivoli BBVA, in Lisbon – are now joined by an extra date at Invicta, on October 10th.
Twelve years after “Com Todo o Respeito (2011), Jorge Palma returns to the originals with VIDA“, which entered the national sales charts in the week of its edition. The presentation single, “Vida”, is one of the songs that is part of the VIDA tour lineup that continues to tour the country.
Alongside Lisbon and Porto, Jorge Palma will present VIDA on September 30th, at the Centro das Artes e Espetáculos in Figueira da Foz; on October 6th, at the Cineteatro Municipal João Mota, in Sesimbra; the 7th at Cine-Teatro Avenida, in Castelo Branco; on November 8th at Casa da Música Francisco Alves Gato, in Mafra; the 17th, at Theatro Circo, in Braga; and the 18th at the Ermesinde Cultural Forum.
Jorge Palma’s new album, VIDA, is available in a standard edition (jewelbox) in the usual stores. The special edition is exclusive to the website www.jorgepalma.pt.
Recorded with his band – João Correia, Nuno Lucas, Pedro Vidal and Vicente Palma – the album also features Carlos Barretto, Flak, José Salgueiro, Júlio Pereira, Manuela Azevedo, Mário Barreiros, Mário Delgado, Paulo Gravato, Rão Kyao, Rui Reininho, Tomás Marques, Tomás Pimentel and Francisco Palma. VIDA was produced by Mário Barreiros.
Tickets for the Porto and Lisbon concerts are on sale online, at the usual locations, and at the Casa da Música and Tivoli BBVA ticket offices, respectively. For the 11th in Porto and the 20th in Lisbon, the last tickets are available.
