Jorge Palma returns to the stage

The musician and composer continues on tour, and the next stops are today and Friday, at the Jardins do Palácio Baldaya, in Lisbon, and at the Ruy de Carvalho Municipal Auditorium, in Oeiras, respectively.

O novo espectáculo “3 palmas na mão”, onde Jorge Palma partilha o palco com os filhos, Vicente e Francisco, estreia a 2 de maio no Cineteatro Louletano, em Loulé, seguindo para o Centro Cultural de Vale de Cambra, dia 16.

Outro formato especial será o Concerto Promenade, no Coliseu Porto Ageas, dia 18 de maio: “Carta Branca a Jorge Palma” é o nome do espectáculo que conta com a Orquestra Sinfónica ARTAVE e direção musical de Cesário Costa, e que se debruçará sobre temas do músico mas também algumas das suas obras clássicas predilectas.

The new show “3 palmas na mão”, where Jorge Palma shares the stage with his sons, Vicente and Francisco, premieres on May 2nd at the Cineteatro Louletano, in Loulé, and moves on to the Centro Cultural de Vale de Cambra, on the 16th.

Another special format will be the Promenade Concert, at the Coliseu Porto Ageas, on May 18th: “Carta Branca a Jorge Palma” is the name of the show that features the ARTAVE Symphony Orchestra and musical direction by Cesário Costa, and which will focus on themes by the musician but also some of his favorite classical works.

“3 Palmas da mão” will be heard again on May 23rd at the Gaia Municipal Auditorium. The month ends with a concert at the Alentejo Encantado Festival, in Vila Nova da Baronia, on the 31st. And on the 7th of June, Jorge Palma plays at Rádio Faneca, in Ílhavo.

With pianist Júlio Resende, Jorge Palma will perform on June 18th and 21st, at Culturgest, in Lisbon, and at Cine-Teatro Estarreja, respectively.

On July 18th, it’s the turn of the EA LIVE festival, in Évora; and on the 26th, at ExpOH, in Oliveira do Hospital. Before that, two more dates of “3 Palmas na mão”, this time at Teatro Maria Matos, in Lisbon, on July 22nd and 23rd.
