Heavy metal standard bearers for more than five decades, JUDAS PRIEST return to Portugal to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the classic «Painkiller».
The organization of EVILLIVƎ FESTIVAL, which returns to Lisbon on 27, 28 and 29 June 2025 for its first outdoor edition at the emblematic Estádio do Restelo, is very pleased to announce JUDAS PRIEST as headliners for next year’s edition. The legendary British band joins the previously confirmed SLIPKNOT, promising one of the most impressive lineups ever in the national heavy music scene.
JUDAS PRIEST, absolute icons of heavy metal, will take the stage at EVILLIVƎ FESTIVAL to celebrate the 35th anniversary of «Painkiller», an album that redefined the genre and solidified its status as one of the greatest bands in history. Released in 1990 and widely considered a masterpiece, «Painkiller» brought a new intensity to the sound of the group, standing out for memorable riffs, a robust production and the unmistakable voice of Rob Halford. This live celebration promises to be a unique moment for fans of all generations.
Formed in 1969 in Birmingham, UK, JUDAS PRIEST made heavy music history with their powerful sound and aesthetic that shaped the heavy metal movement. Over more than five decades, the band has influenced countless artists, accumulating awards and recognition around the world. This special performance at EVILLIVƎ FESTIVAL will be a tribute not only to the legacy of «Painkiller», but also to the brilliant career of one of the most iconic bands ever.
Organized by Prime Artists, in 2025 the EVILLIVƎ FESTIVAL promises three unforgettable days with a diverse poster that will cover several generations of musicians and fans. The event will take place on June 27, 28 and 29, 2025, with more confirmations of artists to be announced in the coming days.
