Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort in the UAE saves 85% on electricity bills with solar panels made in Portugal
Photovoltaic solar panels made in Portugal start to go around the world. Now, the Portuguese company Energie has installed 200 thermodynamic solar panels at the luxury hotel resort Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort, in the United Arab Emirates. The project allows an energy saving of 85% in the hotel’s light bill.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his luxury resort is located on the island of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, and was considered as the Best Design Hotel in the World in 2019, by the World Travel Awards. With the installation of these solar photovoltaic systems, the tourism enterprise will be able to save 85% of the energy bill annually.
The solar system installed in the United Arab Emirates guarantees the use of three circuits: heating of sanitary water in the rooms; heating of sanitary waters in the kitchens and heating of sanitary waters in the villas, spa and gym.
The 100% Portuguese company exports to over 50 countries and is responsible for the energy efficiency of several reference buildings, from the Mcdonald’s chain in Spain and Italy, to the Spanish Ministry of Industry or the Vatican, where four 500 liters for the Swiss Guard.
