The current epidemiological situation has led the Universidade Portucalense and the Sociedade de Advogados Cerejeira Namora and Marinho Falcão to join efforts to discuss the need for companies to adopt exceptional and temporary measures and legal regimes with a strong impact on their activities.
To this end, on the 11th and 12th of May, they decided to organize two clarification sessions – Covid-19 Webinar – and thus analyze the issues related to the volatility with which these measures are updated, which is of great interest to the community. and for all economic operators.
In the first session of the webinar, on the 11th, it is intended to clarify, in practical terms, the simplified lay-off procedure and the measures adopted to provide protection to workers and employers.
In the second session, on the 12th, the objective is to clarify, on the one hand, the support measures adopted to respond to the financial and economic needs of the various sectors, and on the other hand, the measures that were adopted to make tax payments more flexible. and social contributions, as well as under what conditions their application may take place.
