Kali Uchis, Grammy Award-winning artist, has just premiered a new song, “I Wish You Roses”, along with an official video directed by Cho Gi-Seok in South Korea.
“This song is about being able to set people free with love,” says Uchis. “It could be a friend, a lover, or someone else, but the point is to celebrate the liberation of the people in our lives without becoming resentful or bitter.”
Uchis is also confirmed for this year’s editions of the famous festivals Coachella, Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil and Estéreo Picnic in Colombia.
Last year, Uchis won three Billboard Latin Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and an American Music Award. In 2021, Uchis took home his first Billboard Latin Music Award for the critically acclaimed album, “Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞”, released in 2020, which includes the hit “telepatía”, which adds more than 2 billion streams to date and is the longest-running Spanish song by a solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100. That same year, Uchis took home his first Grammy, as well as Premios Nuestra Tierra and Univision Premios Juventud, was on the cover of “Office Magazine”, performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and toured throughout North America.
