KCS iT in the Azores now completes one year of activity
KCS iT raised the R&D unit, its office in Terceira, which is now one year in business. KCS Terceira Tech focuses on the development of projects that link innovation and sustainability, with the contribution of local insights.
The KCS iT office located on the island of Terceira, in the Azores, marks its first year of existence in October. During this period, the consultant’s R&D unit was elevated and received the designation of KCS Terceira Tech.
The location of KCS iT in the Azores has a team of seven elements, oriented to the development of technically innovative projects and supported by local resources, with a focus on the areas of Health and Sustainability and with a positive impact on the community and biodiversity.
As explained by Luís Dias, Business Unit Manager and responsible for the KCS Terceira Tech center, “among the work to be developed locally there are several projects that integrate not only the intervention in terms of new technological solutions, but innovation applied to the social and environmental. These are projects with a contribution to the future of the planet and the coming years of humanity. Our goal is to provide KCS iT with an innovation team, but also with product delivery and development.”
KCS iT is currently investigating new solutions for identifying individuals based on certain characteristics b to create a model that will facilitate the entire process of cataloging sightings.
New technologies such as ML.NET are being explored, together with proven tools in the field of machine learning, to streamline this development process.
