Hard Club (Porto) and Capitólio day 25 and 26 October
The KERALA DUST operate in Portugal in October. The band will perform live at the Hard Club (Porto) and Capitólio on October 25 and 26, respectively.
Tickets will be available from Friday, April 11, in ticketline.pt, houseoffun.pt and usual places.
‘Bell‘ is the new single from the KERALA DUST. The theme is already available digitally and is a hypnotic blend of blues, psychedelic rock and techno, and the first track to be taken from its next, not yet announced third album. Speaking of ‘Bell’, which remains as a cinematic nebula memory, pulsating and impossible to shake, the Kerala Dust said: “This song to us in fragments over a couple of recording sessions. Echoes of the blues from a week of tape recording in Austin, Tx, it’s about the way webury parts of ourselves – memories, emotions – only to find them resurfacing when we least expect. ”
The new track ‘Bell‘ is a clear statement of Kerala Dust’s evolution and musically signals his next album mixing art rock, electronic, American, and desert blues, while harnessing the energy of the dance floor. With the new members, technologist Tim Gardner and drummer Pascal Karier, alongside the band’s founders, Edmund Kenny (voice, electronics) and Lawrence Howarth (guitar), the recent intensive tour experiences after the 2023 album, Violet Drive, shaped the recording sessions of ‘Bell‘ and the new album, with Edmund’s struggles during this period to deeply impact his personal life and his connection with the public. The musician felt a desire for closer proximity to the listeners, reflecting a change in the way he addressed the recording process.
