Kiasmos return to Portugal with a new album

The influential electronic duo Kiasmos, formed by the BAFTA-winning Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds and the Faroese musician Janus Rasmussen, announces their return to the Portuguese stage for an exclusive concert in Lisbon.
The show will take place at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo, on May 30, 2025, marking the long-awaited return of the duo to Portugal, now with a new album in their luggage.
Known for their unique fusion of minimalist and emotional electronic music, the duo Kiasmos has conquered the world with their self-titled debut album, released in 2014, and with EPs acclaimed as Swept (2015) and Blurred (2017). After more than five years away from the stage, the duo is back with a new production that promises to expand the limits of their sound universe. A unique show that combines the atmospheric soundscapes and the engaging rhythms that have made Kiasmos one of the most striking projects in contemporary electronic music.
This concert will be a unique opportunity for Portuguese fans to experience the magic of Kiasmos live, on an unforgettable night. Tickets for this show will be available from 13 December.
Ólafur Arnalds’ relationship with the Portuguese public has been marked by unforgettable moments, such as the tour of his solo album Some Kind of Peace in 2022, which passed through the Casa da Música in Porto and the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon. This return with Kiasmos reinforces the strong link between the musician and Portugal.
