Being able to translate all these feelings through a song can, at the same time, be wonderful and reductive, so many things are impossible to describe in words and convey through sounds.
“JÚLIA (CIRCLES OF LIFE)”, a single released on October 2nd, which is accompanied by a video clip produced by Cactus Sessões, is an attempt to do so and save for posterity everything that was felt and experienced, in an extraordinarily happy.

Sometimes in music and in life, “silence” doesn’t mean inertia, and in this case, that couldn’t be more true.
The silence of these last 3 years resulted in the second LP to be released by King John, a musical project by António Aves, born on the island of S. Miguel (Azores) and based in Lisbon for 7 years.
The musician, who has played on stages such as Festival Tremor, Mare de Agosto, Festival Monte Verde, Musicbox, A Porta and The Shacklewell Arms (London), rediscovered himself and found a sound closer to what he always intended for the project.
GOOD SON is the title of the album, it brings with it 9 originals and at its genesis were two questions: Was/Am I a good son? Will I be a good father?
It was recorded between Ponta Delgada (S. Miguel, Azores) and Lisbon at HAUS studio, co-produced and mixed by Makoto Yagyu from PAUS and mastered at Abbey Road studios by Frank Arkwright (Arcade Fire, The Smiths, New Order, Joy Division).
It will be released on November 24th by Echo Rock, with a special vinyl edition co-edited by Black Sand (Music).
