Klaudio Hoshai’s artistic residency at B.Leza is back. This time, the Angolan musician invites Gari Sinedima.
“Klaudio Hoshai invites Gari Sinedima” promises a fusion of Angolan classics, soul and Afro, in a unique concert at B.Leza, the mythical house of African music in Lisbon.
Together, the artists will offer the public a night rich in influences and rhythms. Angola will take the stage with the voices of these two musicians, both singers and composers from the new Angolan generation, in the process of asserting themselves across borders.

He is widely recognized for his hit “Pió Pió”, a mandatory song on kizomba and semba dance floors around the world. “Emigrou” is the name of his most recent single, released in 2023: a robust semba that narrates, in the first person, the difficulties of an emigrant in establishing himself abroad.
With a lot of vocal techniques, the artist mixes soul, blues, zouk and afro jazz in his songs. But, above all, it shows enormous respect for the roots of Angolan semba, a style in which it has been growing. Your show is a journey through time and space!
The artist lives in Lisbon and has been on a European tour for a year, with visits to France, Italy, Poland, Holland, and Switzerland, among other countries. Numerous presentations in Portugal and also in Cape Verde.
With an already long career in Angola, where he composed for great African musicians, Klaudio Hoshai has a very strong and consolidated presence on social media, with 90 thousand followers on Instagram and several thousand on TikTok and Facebook. It has received great media attention, with around 100 appearances on television, radio and in the press in the last fourteen months. At the end of last year, the artist had a short video of himself go viral, in which he reinterprets a classic of Angolan music, singing in Kimbundu: “Desespero”, by Robertinho.
The artist is undergoing a lot of work and big news: he has just returned from Cape Verde, where he performed in front of 11 thousand people at the São João do Mindelo festivities. In Ribeira de Julião, the Angolan musician took the stage on the night of June 22, after Sizal and before Loony Johnson.
Also recently (on May 25th) he released on YouTube his full concert held at AME (Praia, Cape Verde) last April, as well as making 5 new singles available (on June 7th and 14th), sung live and in which he performs classics of the traditional Angolan songbook, taking all the ancestry of the original songs, remixing them and fusing them into their younger, but equally profound, interpretation.
The energy, vocal technique, interaction with the public, Angolanness and the African soul that he distils on stage are now even more visible and audible to everyone who follows his career.
