KREATOR return to Portugal for a concert at Meo Arena
The historic German thrash metal band, founded in Essen in 1982 are returning to Portugal. The concert will be held on December 16, in the Tejo Room of the Meo Arena, with “support” from national TOXIKULL and SACRED SIN.
With more than four decades of career, the legendary KREATOR maintain its position as one of the most influential and successful bands from the thrash phenomenon. Since they first came out in the early 80s, Mille Petrozza and company have always been resilient and irreducibly faithful to their convictions, never giving up the ferocious attitude that excited them as teenagers. To prove that the dedication still pays off, they continue to drag thrash-thirsty crowds around the world and, after the postponement of the concert announced for last June 15 due to technical problems, return to the Tejo Room of the Altice Arena in Lisbon on December 16, 2024.
Representing two distinct generations of the national metal, TOXIKULL and SACRED SIN will perform in the Tejo Room before the legends of Germanic thrash come on stage. Since joining in 2016, TOXIKULL have gradually built their career in a very intelligent way and, since the edition of the much applauded Under The Southern Light, they have been saying one of the most solid proposals from the Portuguese underground in recent years. Pioneers of death metal in Portuguese soil and with a solid path that, by this time, has already surpassed the mark of three decades, SACRED SIN continue to be a true force of nature and, proving its relevance in the new millennium, signed one of the best Portuguese extreme metal records of 2022 with the demolisher Storms Over The Dying World.
