This is the day that over a thousand consultants from Keller Williams in Portugal leave their businesses aside and come together to get their hands on the backing of a social project.
“A day when consultants around the world stop working to give back to the communities in which they are inserted.” It was with this concept that in 2009 Keller Williams’ RED Day was born, and it is also with this motto that every year the Market Centers close for a day and its associates at a global level try to make a difference to improve people’s lives in the communities they serve.
“Each year, our Market Centers come together for a common good, developing actions that make sense for each community they are in. This is an initiative that happens worldwide and to which Portugal has joined, having always gathered a group of consultants who want to help and that fit this philosophy, “says Eduardo Garcia e Costa, Keller Williams Portugal.
This is the year that KW Portugal celebrates 5 years of existence, so symbolically, in this RED Day, the North-South Market Centers of the country will be united in supporting the same cause, the Food Bank Against Hunger.
Renew, Energize and Donate are the motto of KW’s RED Day – since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams associates around the world have delivered hundreds of thousands of hours of community service through activities as diverse as blood donation , food offers, reconstruction of houses and schools and reforestation of burned areas, always for the benefit of the communities in which they are inserted in the day today.
