The nominees for the 80th edition of the Golden Globes have just been revealed, after a two-year interruption.
Lady Gaga is nominated with the song “Hold My Hand”, in the category of Best Original Song. The theme by Lady Gaga, BloodPop and Benjamin Rice was part of the soundtrack of the popular film “Top Gun: Maverick”.
Also nominated in the Best Original Song category is Taylor Swift with the song “Carolina” from the movie “Where the Crawdads Sing” and Rihanna with “Lift Me Up” (theme written by Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson), from the movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.
Selena Gomez is also nominated, but for Best Actress in a Television Series – Comedy / Musical, thanks to her performance in “Only Murders in the Building“.
Composer Justin Hurwitz is another nominee for the Golden Globes, for Best Original Score, thanks to the film “Babylon”.
The Golden Globes 2023 ceremony will take place on January 10 and will be hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael.
